October 29, 2024, I planned this flight for months. Flying with Jeff, we navigated from Hartford to Caldwell NJ via an IFR flight plan (In the clouds at 6,000' on the way down). This video captures the Hudson River at 1,100' MSL on the New Jersey side. We enter in Alpine, NJ and travel Southbound around the Statue of Liberty.
Its summertime over the River on June 2, 2024. The weather was calm and smooth. I departed Hartford, CT on way to Groton, CT and take you along for a ride at 2,100'. With the magic of editing I speed this video up 400% so it appears I am going 4X the speed at a smooth 400mph. Recording at 59.96fps there is no skipping with the time lapse. Enjoy the CT River South.
Jeff and I are heading up the Hudson River after making one lap around the Statue of Liberty. We see the breathtaking NY skyline to our right hand side. The entire video is shot from my eternal wing camera. I overlay a tiny view of the internal cockpit GoPro in the bottom of the screen.
